BROADWAY SERVES is a NYC based service organization whose mission is to connect theater professionals to volunteer opportunities, locally, nationally, and abroad. We are committed to creating a platform for theater makers to “be the change beyond the stage” by engaging in activities that directly impact the needs of our most vulnerable communities. By partnering with organizations whose missions align with ours, as well as developing socially responsible original programming, we create a bridge between the theater industry and the community at large to address issues of accessibility to basic human rights.
Ways to Volunteer
For general inquiries about Broadway Serves, please e-mail info@broadwayserves.org.
We offer Broadway and theater professionals volunteer opportunities in New York City and across North America/internationally. We also offer kid-friendly opportunities designed especially for the under 18 crowd. Join us on our service initiatives, and BE the change beyond the stage!
Here are examples of some of our existing New York City partnerships.

Our inaugural event, AIDS Walk NY is a fun way for members of the Broadway and professional theater community to fundraise and show support for the fight against AIDS. Members of our team will walk the 6.5 mile course through Manhattan's Central Park.

Through City Harvest's 'Mobile Market' program, members will distribute produce throughout the 5 boroughs to underserved communities to encourage healthy eating.
We're always in search of new and creative ways for the theater community to be engaged in the needs of the global community, and welcome any ideas you may have for how to best be of service. Click HERE if there is a cause you'd like the theater community to rally around. Be sure to include in your e-mail, any facts or details surrounding the cause you'd like to bring attention to, or event you'd like to participate in.
